The battle was a tough one

I really like the quote in this post. I did a lecture yesterday and asked 100 students if life controlled them or they controlled life. It was a 50/50 split!

It’s amazing how many adults still get knocked around because they’re not solid in who they are and in what they want out of life. I see it happen often especially with people my age and older. What kills me is when they complain about how children are so out of control yet don’t see themselves as immediate role models. I mean, like, those kids weren’t born out of control. So where does the buck stop, ‘eh?
