    OK, this is one I really don’t get. Why do they accept EUROs? How is that supposed to help?

    Mig, the USA is in a financial crisis. We’re looking at a recession far worse than what happened in the 30s. Accepting Euros is indicative of financial desperation. In other words, there seems to be a compromise in order to make a sale.
    Moreover, it used to be mandatory for all foreign money to be converted before it had any purchasing power. I believe that is a standard practice in every country.
