No Sense, No Pain…..
The insidious thing with this is that I believe that I’ve met at least one or two who will actually do this as an attention getter instead of simply enhancing one’s personality.
I’m sure my thoughts about it will be considered, “lame & boring….”
So be it – Silly me

I found you through BlogPatrol’s Top 1000 blogs.
These pictures are horrifying to say the least. Why anyone would want to mutilate herself is a matter that should be discussed with a Psychiatrist!
And from a background in nursing I cannot begin to say how dangerous this is! Would she let all her friends stand around while she had her appendix out? Would she let that backyard surgeon perform on her? Has she not heard of hepatitis and HIV? Surely one has heard about infection from surgery done in a sterile environment!
Your attitude is not “lame and boring” and most people out there would agree that this is an outrageous act.

Welcome to Maryannaville Barbara and thanks for commenting on this post.
I am a person who has hepatitis c although I didn’t get it like what the gal is romancing in these photos. Tattoos don’t make any sense to me at all, either.
Gratefully, I cleared the virus after doing 52 weeks of old combo. This November 8th marks my 3rd anniversary when I began treatment and I cleared in April 04.
My head tripped viewing these photos someone had sent me and they made me real ill. I’ve worked the O.R. in plenty of code blues and red blankets and have participated as a team member in the hospital’s ALS teams and have not ever gotten an upset stomach from seeing blood fly.
But these made me really ill. I almost didn’t post them due to their very nature. Then I thought that maybe it would stop someone from being so damn stupid with his or her health.
Thanks again for stopping in and voicing your opinion and experiences, Barbara, and hope you’ll visit us here again real soon.

Looks like it really hurt, I do not have one tatoo. I did peirce my own ears one time back in the 70′s. I peirced the right one and all my pals told me how dumb I was. So I did the other then found out that I could not wear earrings. DoH

I’m pretty sure that it’s not only a stupid move this gal did, Mikel, but it’s very much self-harming according to classification.
My family doctor pierced my first set when I was 12 then a gal pal did my second set when I was in my early 20s. Both sets are still open although I don’t really use them both anymore.
I never leave my home without earrings on, it’s become a part of my legacy the kids tell me, lol.
