Love is a many splendid thing

I had read somewhere several years ago that unrequited love is the best love one can ever have. That is one of the most lame ideas I think I have ever read. It’s bullshit as well as moronic. Also, happiness does not mean that everything is perfect. Being happy means that a decision has been made to look beyond imperfections. Healthy love is a daily task that is contractual–period.  It isn’t a game; love is a daily commitment and one that is hopefully taken to heart by all parties involved.card2175 380x228 Love is a many splendid thingimage

A decision to love will be one that is healthy insomuch that it speaks for itself. True love resonates the obvious with end results of imitation and in mutual covenant. All else is bullshit.

    Thanks, Renny. What disturbs me is when I see a person treat his or her mate and the relationship as if it is one of ownership like one would own chattel. Or, when a man hides behind his mate’s apron strings, so to speak, as an example; or, when I hear one partner speak disrespectfully to others about a personal grievance with his/her companion.

    When I witness any of these things, I easily know that I’m just a breath away of being spoken about in the same way.
