I’ve bore the title “Countess” before in another life but this is the very first time I’ve gotten to be Countess-Palatine. I’m not sure just what that means except it’s of some royalty. Maybe in Lardle Midhoop and Chignall Smeally, I reckon, huh?
I thought it would be pleasant for my guests if I have my handmaiden tighten up my Merry Widow a tad. I may get real chilly here sometime today, yanno.
By the way, who is that bloke MarcF aka aWkW’dBaSt’D? Have we met him somewhere before, Your Highness?

That’s hilarious! The words don’t flow very smoothly from one’s lips. Imagine the trippery after a few Sandrias
My new title is Marchioness Deborah the Nefarious of Barton in the Beans, if you please.

Hi there fellas.
so, I hear some of you have no recollection of my pedigree… That’s unfortunate… From what I recently learned, I am Marquess Marc the Indecisive of Peevish St Victor… Ring any bells ? ;D
BTW, the “countess-palatine” title -if my memories are faithful- is a title of pre-feudal aristocracy, back in the times of the Holy Roman German Empire… Wowie !!!

Smiling, she graciously extends her hand to the long forgotten Marquess Marc the Indecisive of Peevish St Victorness. It is he who will kiss her hand with his Frenchling greetings.
Rumor has it that Countess-Palatine had to have the servants quickly clear the large amount of antiquated cobwebs from her wore lorn memory of his delightful charm.
The servants called out “Holy Smokes”! the palace has caught fire! Marquess Marc the Indecisive of Peevish St Victor’s shadow has yet again graced this castle’s threshold with his excellence!
Fetch the fatted calf. It’s time to celebrate old friendships!
