Congratulations to our 2009 graduates!
We are shut up in schools and college recitation rooms for ten or fifteen years, and come out at last with a bellyful of words and do not know a thing.
* Ralph Waldo Emerson, 1803-1882
*The test of your lives will begin once you step into the world, far away from Mom and Dad’s protection. It is then when we will see what you have actually learned and the manner of which you have chosen its implementation. Will your decision be with good will towards mankind’s greatest benefit or will it be for naught filled with selfish ill will with only your own personal gains in mind?
The best is yet to come. Count on it. Include that you will also go through many obstacles before you can see it in the near distance and it will take years. Yet nothing worth having comes easy. Your Math and Science classes have taught you that. Look constantly for balance.
Good luck and best wishes to each and every single one of you. Welcome to your present AND to your future. Both are yours for the taking. Have fun, be safe and don’t forget to invest in yourself and your future!
