Instead of panicking, ask yourself, what is really going on that we aren’t able to see?  [Think along the lines of Baxter Biolabs history with Bird Flu, Donald Rumsfeld's investment in the Tamiflu controversy and the current economy situation. Oh, and don't forget about NAFTA.]  Take an extra moment to wash your hands and cover your mouth well when you cough.  Be sure to get plenty of rest and eat right just like Mom said.

A blogger has been fined 1.8 million dollars for defamation.  It’s about time, too. You can read about it in this article.

“The head of a local advertising agency has won $1.8 million in damages after suing an author of a blog – known for its harsh and sometimes crass criticism of elected officials, business leaders and local media – for defamation.”

freespeech Accountability and Responsibility are finally here!

Bloggers are publishers and a publisher is responsible for what gets published. It doesn’t matter whether he or she actually wrote it. A blog owner is now wholly responsible for what information or disinformation ends up on the net.
